1: HBS2206: By applying servo control on easy servo motors (stepper motors with encoders), Leadshine HBS2206 easy servo drive combines features of both open loop stepper drives and brushless AC servo drives. It takes step and direction control commands, direct 220/230 VAC input voltage, and outputs load-based current up to 6.0A. It is capable of powering 3-phase easy servo motors of NEMA 34/42, closing the position loop, and eliminating position tracking errors in real time. Similar to brushless AC servo drives, an HBS2206 easy servo drive can take encoder feedback from driven high voltage easy servo motors and close the position loop to eliminate possibility of lose of movement synchronization. Therefore, the position loop between the motor and drive is fully closed and "lose of step" in open loop stepper systems is totally eliminated. The HBS2206 easy servo drive adopts advanced control algorithm and just outputs "just enough" to the driven motor to to meet the torque requirement. So, easy servo systems driven by HBS2206 can response and accelerate much faster than open loop stepper systems in high precision and with extra low heating, extra smooth, much higher torque and speeds. Compared with conventional brushless servo systems, easy servo / closed loop systems powered by HBS2206 servo drive can output much higher low to medium speed torque (1-2000 RPM). There is no overshooting, no hunting, and zero settling time. Also, no tuning and plug-and-play for almost all applications makes HBS2206 powered easy servo/closed loop systems give advantages over conventional brushless servo systems. The HBS2206 easy servo drive takes direct HBS2206 voltage input without the need of a VDC power supply. Each drive has a built-in LED panel to allow easy custom configuration, fine tuning, and motion real time status monitoring. In addition, HBS2206 can be easily configured as an open loop stepper drive to power three phase stepper motors.
