History of TheOrientBazaar

TheOrientBazaar is the registered brand of Haz Hali- Abuzer Agca sole proprietorship. We are operational since 1993 in the same address Bab-i Ali Carsisi in Cagaloglu / Istanbul. We are 4th generation of a family business that goes back as far as 1936 back to the Malatya province of Turkey. The family moved to Istanbul in the early 1970s and opened carpet shops around Istanbul and Grand Bazaar. Abuzer Agca, 2nd generation, is an agricultural engineer who worked long years in different parts of Turkey, because of this, he was able to collect many special Turkish rugs and Turkish Kilims during his assignments to country yards and villages. He also collected and sold Persian , Oushak, Hereke, Bunyan carpet rugs. Ozgur Agca Karamizrak joined the family business in 2011 and transformed the brick-and-mortar business into an online shop. Haz Halicili- TheOrientBazaar has established a company in the USA, in 2016. The company has contracted partner fulfillment services with storage companies in Florida, USA, Ottowa, Canada and Dusseldorf, Germany. 4th generation continues by improving and expanding business areas to give better service and each day better quality.
